Shaun Monk - Outfitter/Guide

Shaun has walked through a lifetime of back country adventures all over New Zealand from multi-day solo hikes, to back pack hunting along the mountain ranges. After two decades of guiding he is ready to help turn your outdoor challenges into safe, awesome experiences. He grew up in the isolated South Westland rain forest near Haast immersed in hunting, fishing and the outdoors from early childhood. Shaun’s wide range of knowledge on wildlife, plants, conservation, bush-craft, mountain safety and New Zealand’s unique history makes for great chat while walking the hills or relaxing around the campfire. Shaun has a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Science

Tayla Harrison - Pro-Guide

Tayla is serious mountain hunter and multi-sport racer. He has hunted all of his life and guided for several years for tahr, chamois, red stag, fallow bucks, and boars. Tayla’s hunting experience also extends to Australia, where he hunted buffalo, and to the U.S., where he pursued mule deer. He is a passionate free-range hunter, often on multi-day solo back-pack missions in the alpine environment. With years of experience in the field, Tayla is known for his deep knowledge of game and alpine terrain. Tayla is a professional builder running his own residential construction business at SouthCo Projects.

EMILIO KENEDY - PRO-GUIDE

Emilio is a professional hunting guide both in New Zealand and Canada. Since starting his guiding career at the age of 19, Emilio has guided a wide variety of game for international hunter’s both in nz and abroad. From gruelling mountain hunts in New Zealand’s rugged backcountry to horse back guiding in northern Canada for moose, caribou, sheep and goats.
Emilio is also a passionate photographer, which he offers for his hunters as well as shooting for outdoor brands and outfitters.
When he’s not guiding, Emilio runs learn to hunt courses for young kids from the city, with a real emphasis on harvesting meat and mountain to table education. He enjoys trail running in the hills with his dog and training for ultra marathons. Along with developing his new interest in archery & bow hunting.

QUAYE PAORA - JUNIOR GUIDE

Quaye was raised on a back country farm with a hunting mad family. He is fully qualified and licenced to guide and has become a very effective at game spotting, trophy assessments and setting up rifles for feild shots. Quaye is super fit with a strong work ethic and this has lead to him securing some fine alpine free range trophies at a very young age. He is also a competitive rugby player representing North Canterbury U18's and South Island Area Schools. He has completed one part time season as assistant guide and has an exciting carrer ahead of him.
